Private Tour Rates

Private tours range in price depending on the duration of the tour, the time of the booking, and the size of the group. Below is a guideline. Additional charges may apply for bespoke tours.

Small Groups of up to 5                                       £150

Medium Groups of up to 15                              £200

Large Groups of up to 25                                     £250

Virtual Tour, Pub Quiz and Lecture Rates

Want all the fun of a loo tour from the comfort of your home, office or school? We offer a variety of lectures on toilets and their history as well as fun and engaging pub quizzes based on the content of our tours.

1 hour talk online                                      £75

1 hour talk in person                        £125 (plus travel if applicable)

2 Hour Pub Quiz online                            £100

2 Hour Pub Quiz in person                     £150 (plus travel if applicable)

Concessionary Rates

For those to whom the above prices would present a financial barrier we are able to offer a limited number of tours and talks at concessionary rates. Please contact us to discuss your needs and receive a custom quote.

FAQ

Why should I book a private tour?

The great thing about a Private Loo Tour is that you get to:

•  Pick your start time and date

• Go at your own pace

• You and your friends/group get a tour all to yourself

• Request adjustments or additions to the route – e.g. if you are having a celebration we could include an extra bar stop along the way

Where will we go on the tour?

You can choose from one of our standard routes (Waterloo Tour, Bloomsbury Tour, Fart Tour, Thoms Crapper)

or a bespoke tour based on your interests or location!

Is there a minimum/maximum group size?

There is no minimum group size, thought there is a minimum booking fee of £100. The maximum recommended group size is 20, though we can accommodate larger groups.For groups of 25+ we recommend splitting the group between two guides.

How can I pay?

We generally take payments via direct bank transfer, to keep fees to a minimum for you and us. Paypal and card payment options are also availible.

How far in advance do I need to pay?

Private hire can be arranged at anytime, pending guide availability. A deposit is due at the time of booking to secure the time and date of your choice, then full payment no later than 2 weeks before the tour.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

Up to 14 days before the date tours are refundable, minus the £25 deposit.

If you need to cancel within 14 days, a 50% non-refundable deposit is retained by the guide.

No refunds if cancelled within 7 days of the tour date. The tour may be re-scheduled, pending availability of the guide.

Do you offer tours in other languages?

Currently our tours are offered in English only, but we are happy to work with translators provided by you and to provide notes in advance. Previous groups have included French, Russian and British Sign Language speakers.
